I wasn’t taught to speak what I think
But to judge,
Judge before I deliver
Judge whether the thing I am supposed to say
Matched with the idea of others
So, I had to read,
Read not only my mind but of others too
Read what their reactions could be
For I was said, not to say
The things that others don’t want to hear
Thus, I feared
Feared taking wrong decisions
Feared reaching out my emotions
Feared being laughed at
This fear I didn’t bring it from the womb
But the world instilled in me as a gift
That shall not leave
me even in my tomb .
